Police Search for Missing East Harlem Woman

MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a woman who went missing from her East Harlem home last week.

Renee Staton, 50, was last seen leaving her home on East 107th Street between Lexington and Third avenues about 10:15 a.m. on Weds., Dec. 14, the NYPD said.

She is described as standing 5-foot-4-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black dreadlocks. She was last seen wearing a waist-length black wool jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers, police added. She is described as being in good physical condition and poor mental health.

Anyone with information in regards to the missing person is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
