UPPER WEST SIDE — A fire broke out inside a restaurant at the corner of West 89th Street and Broadway early Wednesday, injuring three people, authorities said.

Fire crews were called to the scene of the fire at Georgia's Cafe and Bakery at 216 W. 89th St. about 12:49 a.m., the FDNY said.

Three people suffered smoke inhalation in the incident and were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition, fire officials said.

The blaze, which forced firefighters to evacuate the building and shut off power, was brought under control about 1:35 a.m., officials added.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, the FDNY said.
