MIDTOWN — You don't have to be Cleopatra to feel like a queen.
Christie's is rolling out the red carpet for fans of La Liz — showing off a treasure trove of screen queen Elizabeth Taylor's jewels, clothes, accessories and a host of memorabilia before putting them on the block.
The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor went on display at the Rockefeller Center auction house Saturday and will be available to the viewing public until Dec. 13 before going up for sale.
Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance. Part of the proceeds will go to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS foundation, a cause long-championed by the star, who died in March.
The collection features the Taylor's most prized jewels — some worth millions on their own — her most stunning dresses and a host of fine art and movie memorabilia.
One of the items, the Elizabeth Taylor Diamond, a 33.19 carat flawless stone set in platinum, is estimated to be worth up to $3.5 million.
Other highlights include a $3 million Cartier necklace, a $7 million Van Gogh, the wedding bands from Taylor's wedding to Richard Burton and an Irene Sharraf caftan used in "Cleopatra."
Four days of auctions will be held beginning Dec. 13, with the marquee pieces in Taylor's jewel collection and ending with art and film memorabilia.
If that's too rich for your blood, there is an online-only auction that runs simultaneously from Dec. 3 - 17.
Bidding on those items, including costume jewelry, fine jewelry, begins at $100 in some cases.
Among the 2,000 goodies is a Van Cleef & Arpels flashlight, estimated at $300 to $500, Valentino ear clips for $100 to $150 and an Oscar de la Renta evening gown for $800 to $1,000.
Interested bidders can register online, or attend the live auction.
"We are honored to launch our first online-only sale with Elizabeth Taylor's stunning collection, which has inspired such international interest since we first announced the sales in May," Christie's Senior Vice President Michael O'Neal said.
