OPENINGS:

SoHo will soon be infused with an extra shot of luxury. Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry is scheduled to open at 109 Mercer St. on Black Friday. The shop from the daughter of The Donald migrated from a 900-square-foot storefront on Madison Avenue to its new 2,400-square-foot space. The new white, black and coral-colored store features Trump's 10 collections of jewelry, a bridal salon and a runway for possible future fashion shows. “My collection pays homage to the past while embracing the future, which is exactly how SoHo has reinvented itself,” Trump said in a statement.

And the West Village will soon get sweeter. Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar will open at 1 Seventh Ave. South on Dec. 2, according to a statement. The 44-seat restaurant will pair products from Jacques Torres, Martine’s Chocolates and Murray’s Cheese with an international wine list. Ayza will also have a chocolate fountain, into which chocolate lovers can dip fresh fruit and other sweets. Ayza currently has a restaurant on West 31st Street.

ON THE HORIZON:

Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo were fans of Hungarian-born skin care expert Dr. Erno Laszlo in the late 1930s, when Laszlo had a center on Fifth Avenue. The Erno Laszlo Institute will return to the city with a 10,000-square-foot flagship spa in SoHo in February, according to a statement released Wednesday by Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, which arranged the lease. The two-floor institute will open at 382 W. Broadway. "The location is conveniently close to the Soho Grand Hotel, for out-of-town visitors in need of immediate rejuvenation and skincare treatments," said Joseph Aquino of Prudential Douglas Elliman.
