MANHATTAN — One cop lost a tooth and another suffered a concussion when a raucous fight erupted at an Inwood nightclub early Sunday morning, police said.

The fracas broke out around 4:30 a.m. at Vin-Tich Lounge at 3950 10th Ave., which calls itself "New York's Hottest Nightclub."

According to police sources, a fight broke out inside the club and people began throwing bottles.

At one point, someone sprayed mace and the fight spilled out onto the street.

According to sources, two of the responding police officers had bottles tossed at them by two people.

When one of the police officers approached the alleged bottle tossers, he was hit by an object and lost a tooth. It is not clear if the cop was punched or hit with a bottle.

The other officer suffered a mild concussion.

The man who knocked out the officer's tooth was taken into custody but was not immediately charged.

Another person was arrested nearby, but the circumstances were not clear.

Vin-Tich Lounge touts itself as an "Ultra Modern Club in the heart of New York City," according to the website.

"With a grown and sexy crowd, VinTich Lounge is the place to be on your weekend's."

A man who answered the phone at the club's number would not identify himself and declined comment.

An email to the club was not immediately returned.
