MANHATTAN — Just call him Michael J. Rocks.
Superstar actor Michael J. Fox whipped out his guitar at a benefit for Parkinson's Disease Saturday night at the Waldorf-Astoria — riffing on Marty McFly's show-stopping performance in "Back to the Future."
Fox used a similar Gibson guitar in the classic 1985 flick, when he performed Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode."
Fox didn't actually play in the movie, according to the Daily Mail, but learned the guitar for a 2008 benefit.
At one point during Saturday's star-studded event, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's," he shared the stage with legendary rocker Joan Jett.
The actor, who has recently appeared in Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Good Wife," has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease for two decades.
He has become a staunch advocate for research and finding a cure since then, starting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
