MANHATTAN — A teenager was shot in the back in East Harlem Monday afternoon, authorities said.
The 16-year-old male was struck by a bullet in the back near East 116th Street and Lexington Avenue about 3:45 p.m., the NYPD said.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said. The NYPD did not have a suspect as of Monday and an investigation in ongoing, police added.
