UPPER WEST SIDE — A "sizable contingent" of Occupy Wall Street protesters are expected to head to Lincoln Center Tuesday night, a spokesman for the month-old movement said.

Members of Occupy Wall Street, who've been camped out at Zucotti Park since Sept. 17, will head uptown to join a 7 p.m. protest by the Granny Peace Brigade, an anti-war group planning a peaceful vigil at the Lincoln Center fountain.

"The Lincoln Center protest is being led by the Granny Peace Brigade, though we expect a sizable contingent of OWS occupiers to join them," an Occupy Wall Street spokesperson told DNAinfo in an email.

Occupy Wall Street listed the vigil, first reported by neighborhood blog West Side Rag, as a "solidarity event" on its website.

The protest is scheduled to coincide with Lincoln Center showtimes, but a spokeswoman for Lincoln Center said the arts complex wasn't making any scheduling changes.

"Lincoln Center, as always, remains open for business," a Lincoln Center spokesperson told the blog for classical music radio station WQXR.
