Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber will help New Yorkers ring in the New Year during the annual Times Square bash, host Ryan Seacrest revealed Monday.
Bieber, who has caused near-riots during previous appearances in the city, will be joining pop superstar Lady Gaga, who will be performing on her home turf in Times Square as part of the annual "Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012” bash.
“I’ll have both Thanksgiving and Christmas off. I’ve got some time off to be with my family,” Bieber told Seacrest during an appearance on his “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” according to Seacrest’s personal site.
When asked about his New Year’s plans, Bieber replied, “I’m know I’m going to be with you [Ryan]!”
Rapper Pitbull is also on the guest list.
