DOWNTOWN — Holy protesters, Batman!

'The Dark Knight Rises,' the third movie in director Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, may be heading to Zuccotti Park to film in the midst of the Occupy Wall Street demonstration, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

The production crew will reportedly arrive in New York on Oct. 29 for a 14-day shoot. Actors have been told that some scenes could be filmed in the park, the Times reported.

Batman has always fought against civic corruption, but it is unclear how Occupy Wall Street would receive him — as a crusader for justice or a part of the Hollywood corporate money machine.
