MANHATTAN — A collection of late Beatle and peace activist John Lennon's drawings and song lyrics will go on display for the 10th year Friday, just days before the iconic musician would have turned 71.

"Gimme Some Truth — The Artwork of John Lennon" includes nearly 100 limited-edition drawings and song lyrics that Lennon created from 1964 up until his death in 1980, according to a statement from the show's promoters.

The exhibition "focuses on truth and the continued quest to find all that is true in the world and within ourselves," the statement said.

Sunday would have been Lennon's 71st birthday.

A never-before-seen piece of Lennon's work called "On Cloud Nine" is included in the show, which is presented by his widow, Yoko Ono, Bag One Arts and Legacy Productions.

Admission is a suggested $2 donation, 100 percent of which will benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels.

Citymeals-on-Wheels delivered meals to more than 16,000 elderly New Yorkers last year, according to the nonprofit's website

The exhibit at 76 Wooster St. opens at noon Friday and closes at 9 p.m. It's open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
