MANHATTAN — A well-dressed bank robber dubbed the "Dapper Bandit" struck for the second time in Manhattan on Friday, the FBI said.
The debonair crook robbed a Capital One branch at 277 Broadway, just two blocks from City Hall, after knocking over another Capital One location on West 57th Street on Sept. 21, authorities said.
The sartorially inclined suspect entered the Downtown branch about 12:30 p.m. Friday, displayed a handgun inside his suit jacket and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, the FBI said.
On Sept. 21, the suspect entered a Capital One branch at 57 W. 57th Street about 3:10 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding the cash, police said. He then fled on foot to the subway station at West 57th Street and Sixth Avenue, police added.

In both instances, surveillance images show a well-groomed, middle-aged man dressed in a black suit and white dress shirt at the teller.
He is 40 to 45 years old, 6 feet tall and stocky, with curly short hair and stubble.
The FBI is offering a "significant reward" for any tip that breaks the case. Anyone with information can remain anonymous and is encouraged to call the FBI offices at 212-384-1000.
