Police Searching for Missing LES Teen Girl

MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a teenage girl who went missing from her Lower East Side home this week.

Zuleica Tejada, 16, was last seen leaving her apartment at 280 Madison St. with her sister on Mon., Oct. 3, about 5:30 a.m., the NYPD said. Her sister later returned home without the teen, police added.

Tejada is described as standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police said.
