MIDTOWN —Superstar Beyoncé Knowles came to Macy's to promote her new perfume, but her legions of fans were more interested in sniffing out signs of her pregnancy.

"She was so beautiful," said megafan Celesse Rivera, 19,  of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, who came to the Herald Square store to see her idol Thursday.

"She had this pregnant glow to her."

The "Single Ladies" songstress announced at the MTV video music awards last month that she and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, were expecting a baby.

Rivera also guessed that Beyoncé's baby would be a girl, since she saw the pop star looking at pink booties at the department store.

The Macy's visit was part of the launch of Beyoncé's new fragrance, Pulse. The perfume officially launched last night at a party at the Dream Downtown Hotel at 355 W. 16th St.

Fans who bought the fragrance had a chance to meet the star during the afternoon. The $140 package includes two bottles of the perfume, a bottle of body lotion, and shower gel.

Roughly 150 fans turned up to meet the singer, according to store staff.

One of them, Megan Galloway, 17, from White Plains, hoped that it would go a little further than a simple meet-and-greet with the star.

"I know she's married, but I want to put a ring on it," she said.

"That's legal here in New York, right?"
