TRIBECA — The only thing missing was a disco ball.

The streets of TriBeCa and SoHo were transformed into a giant club Thursday night, as Fashion's Night Out events filled everything from the storefronts to the sidewalks with fashionistas wearing sequins, ruffles, leopard prints, and black leather fringe.

At the Otte boutique on North Moore Street, shoppers tried on the "Otte Signature" collection, made in the Garment District. Patrons dressed in long, gold-sequined dresses and other eye-catching frocks admired the long, layered tops and animal-print patterns.

A few blocks north, SoHo was bustling with boutiques like IF SoHo, on Grand Street, blasting old-school tunes like Kool & the Gang and Evelyn "Champagne" King as shoppers enjoyed an open bar and deep jewel-toned psychedelic prints.

Vivienne Tam's boutique on Mercer Street featured a hip-hop singer and sushi, while shoppers wearing some of the most interesting fashions of the evening — including ripped tights and platform shoes — lined up around the block to get into Alexander Wang's shop on Mercer Street.

The biggest crowds gathered on West Broadway south of Houston Street near the Billionaire Boys Club/Ice Cream men's clothing store, where people bustled behind barricades waiting to get inside for a hip-hop performance.
