WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — A man was in critical condition Monday night after being shot in the chest in Washington Heights, according to police.

The wounded 30-year-old turned up at New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center on West 168th Street at 7:43 p.m., the NYPD said.

Later that night, police had set up a crime scene outside of 520 West 163rd St. near St. Nicholas Avenue, where they believe the shooting took place.

Cops had not made any arrests and the investigation was ongoing as of Tuesday evening.

They had not received any updates on the man’s condition at that time, according to an NYPD spokesman.
