MANHATTAN — The daydreams of "Sex and the City" fans just got a little more real, with the opening of a new Jimmy Choo store on Bleecker Street, just a high-heeled sashay away from Magnolia Cupcake, another Carrie Bradshaw favorite.

Jimmy Choo's third fancy shoe outpost in the city opened Tuesday, nestled between Marc by Marc Jacobs and Zadig + Voltaire, Racked.com reported.

Company founder Tamara Mellon told Women's Wear Daily she wanted the shop to "evoke the feeling of a '40s boudoir."

The 407 Bleecker St. space has mirrored dressing tables, chandeliers and plush seating, according to Racked.

The temptation of a new store was too much for some shoe fans.

"Jimmy Choo opens in the West Village today? Remind us to stay away from that hood. #saveourcreditcards," the fashion line Equipment posted to their Twitter account.

Jimmy Choo, where towering heels can run upwards of $700, joins many upscale shops on Bleecker Street, including two Ralph Lauren stores and three Marc Jacobs stores.
