MANHATTAN — Beloved California java chain, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, may soon be giving a jolt to Midtown West.
After pushing back its opening, the coffee shop is set to begin caffeinating patrons by the end of August, Grub Street reported. A spokesman for the store said it would be more likely to open in early September.
The new location, at Broadway and West 39th Street, will be the chain's first in the city, though more Manhattan locations are on the way, according to Koshertopia.com.
In a sign that a New York location was perhaps inevitable, The Coffee Bean advertises that many of its cafes are certified kosher.
It's not clear if the 39th Street location will be kosher.
