MANHATTAN - A water main break on the Upper West Side Saturday morning left part of a street flooded - days after a ruptured pipe turned part of The Bronx into a river, fire officials said.

The rupture occurred at 32 W. 82nd St., near Central Park West, at around 9:20 a.m., according to the FDNY.

The flooding was relatively minor, but Department of Envrionmental Protection workers at the scene said that they had to shut off water on the block as they tried to pinpoint the cause.

There were no immediate reports of evacuations or injuries.

Last Wednesday, a water main broke in The Bronx, submerging a portion of Jerome Avenue near East 177th Street.
