MANHATTAN - An East Harlem man was killed in a double shooting at a Bronx housing project Friday night, cops said.

The victim, Tyrone Johannes, 30, was found shot once to torso in front of 1770 Story Ave., in the Soundview section just after 11 p.m.

He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he died, police said.

Around the corner, at 872 Rosedale Ave., cops found a 19 year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

He was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Sources said that the men were hanging out in the courtyard of the Monroe Houses when shots rang out.

Both men started running.

The motive for the shooting was not immediately known.  It is also not clear whether either man was the intended target.

Sources said that Johannes had a criminal record for drug sale.
