Former Porn Star Says Anthony Weiner Took Political Chats to the Gutter

MIDTOWN EAST — All former porn star Ginger Lee said she wanted to talk about with Anthony Weiner was politics. But he couldn't keep his mind out of the gutter.

That's what the ex-skin flick actress and stripper told reporters during a press conference Wednesday in the wake of the congressman's spiralling sexting scandal. Lee's been identified as one of six women Weiner admitted sending sexually-charged messages and lewd photos to.

"Although discussions at first were about politics, sometimes he would try to take it to another level, mentioning his 'package,' " said lawyer Gloria Allred during the press conference, with Lee at her side.

When Lee took to the podium, she joined the chorus of officials calling for his resignation, including President Barack Obama.

"I think Anthony Weiner should resign," said the soft-spoken blonde, speaking in a Southern drawl, at the Friars Club, on E. 55th Street, just blocks from where Weiner admitted his cringe-inducing Twitter habits.

"If he lied about this, I can’t have much faith in him about anything else," she said.

Allred said Weiner first contacted her client back in March and that the pair exchanged messages until two weeks ago.

Lee said that after the story broke, she reached out to Weiner asking him for help.

"He asked me to lie about our communication," Lee said, adding that Weiner told her that if they simply didn't say anything, the story would die.

While Allred insisted that most of the missives were innocent and that no lewd photos were exchanged, she said that sometimes Weiner "would try to take it to another level."

She quoted from a string of the 100 alleged emails, which included the congressman's repeated discussions of his "package."

"I have wardrobe demands, too. I need to highlight my package," he allegedly wrote in one note, Allred said.

"You aren't giving my package due credit," he wrote in another, she claimed.

Lee insisted she did not reciprocate Weiner's advances, though she did reportedly write about wanting to have sex with him on her personal site.

Allred said the media storm has forced Lee into hiding and caused her "severe" emotional distress. She's been suffering from severe lupus flare-ups from the stress and even received threats, Lee said.

Now all her client wants, Allred said, is to be able to return to her job as a stripper at an undisclosed strip club outside of New York.

"This whole scandal has been shocking [to her]," Allred said.

A spokesperson for Weiner did not immediately return messages for comment.
