GREENWICH VILLAGE — A secret garden party thrown by designer Stella McCartney brought A-list celebrities to the West Village to see the designer's latest work.
The event, at the Church of St. Luke in the Fields, brought actresses Liv Tyler and Naomi Watts, U2 frontman Bono and Vogue editor Anna Wintour to see the spring 2012 collection show held in the church’s garden at 483 Hudson Street Monday, according to Racked and Hello Magazine.
The British designer and daughter of the Beatle's Paul McCartney hosted the secret event as models, decked out in the colorful new range, mingled with the crowd.
Celebs and models could even try their hand at laid on entertainment items, including hula hoops, bubble wands, yo-yos and a badly beaten donkey piñata, Racked reported.
For those of us who didn’t get an invite, Stella McCartney’s boutique is located at 429 West 14th Street at Ninth Avenue.
