Police arrested a suspect linked with Thursday's stabbing of man in Washington Heights.
Diego Quinteros, 52, was apprehended on Friday at 600 West 136th St. for allegedly stabbing Alfredo Illescas, 49, in Washington Heights Thursday morning, NYPD officials said.
When the police arrived to the scene at 566 West 190th St., Illescas was lying on the second floor landing with a stab wound to his stomach. He was announced dead at the scene.
Quinteros was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
