MIDTOWN — A gunman held up a Diamond District jewelry store, snatching baubles and cash before fleeing, police said.
The man, described as between 40 and 47 years old, about 185 lbs with short hair and light gray facial hair, asked to see jewels in Dmitry and Co. at 205 West 57th St. at 3 p.m. Friday before pulling out a gun.
He robbed the store and two people who were inside, police said. It's not known how much money was taken.
Images of the suspect wearing a dark blue baseball hat with a NY logo, white striped button down shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses were captured by surveillance cameras.
