MANHATTAN — A-list celebrities and thousands of well-dressed spectators made their way to Governors Island Sunday for the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.

Actor Hugh Jackman served as master of ceremonies for the event, where a who's-who of fashionable New Yorkers and celebrities turn out to catch a polo match and raise money to help Haiti.

"This is my first time here and I'm loving it, even though the champagne is $85 a bottle," said Taylor Janes, 27, who took in the match with two high school buddies from Colorado.

During the match, Team Black Watch, led by world-renowned Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, squared off against Tean Veuve Clicquot.

Figueras scored four gols to lead Black Watch to a 6-5 win.

Among the celebs on hand were fashion designers Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan, hotel heiress Nikki Hilton, and actresses Naomi Watts and Isla Fisher.

Musician and former Haitian presidential candidate Wyclef Jean was also in attendance, tweeting about the days events.

"[T]his is not just another polo Game, this polo game will bring awareness to haiti," tweeted Jean.

Prince Harry played in the match last year and was tossed from his horse during a 7-6 overtime loss.

The English prince was unhurt. He didn't return this year.
