HELL'S KITCHEN — The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum has announced this year's array of Fleet Week events, intended to honor members of the U.S. Armed Services.

The festivities will kick off on Wednesday, May 25, with a parade of ships sailing along the Hudson. The best views of the event will be from the Intrepid's flight deck, at West 46th Street and the Hudson River Park from 10 a.m. to noon.

Other highlights will include tours of the visiting Army vessel LSV-1 and performances by Broadway stars including the cast of "Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles" on Friday, May 27.

Classic movie "Top Gun" will screen aboard the Intrepid's flight deck Friday night, kick-starting the museum's summer movie series.
