TIMES SQUARE — A man was killed by an uptown 3 train at Times Square, fire and transit officials said.
The incident occurred at roughly 3:38 p.m., fire officials said.
Uptown 2 and 3 trains were skipping Times Square, and were running on the local track between 14th Street and 72nd Street, according to the MTA website.
Downtown 2 and 3 service was running local all the way from 96th Street to Chambers Street, the MTA said.
The police said they do not suspect any criminality.
