MANHATTAN — Police are hunting for a burglar they've dubbed the "Upper East Side Creeper" after he sneaked into at least six buildings this month, according to a report.
The prowler uses service entrances to get into buildings, then searches for unlocked apartments before snatching jewelry and computers, police said.
A woman told WABC he took electronics from her neighbor's home — but left a creepy memento behind.
"There was a flower," said Colleen Brennan.
The suspect, described as 6-foot-2, between 40 and 45 years old and wearing gold-rimmed glasses, has hit buildings from the East 60s through the East 80s since April 4.
The most recent incident was on April 19 at 145 East 82nd St., police said.
