MANHATTAN — Christopher Tierney, the actor who was seriously injured during a preview performance of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" in December, is headed back to the show, the New York Post reported.

Tierney landed in intensive care after falling 30 feet into the orchestra pit at the Foxwoods Theater Dec. 20.

After making a quick recovery and undergoing physical therapy, Tierney is expected to rejoin the cast of the $65 million musical Monday, producer Michael Cohl told the Post.

"His back's fine," Cohl said to the paper. "They've taken the bolts and the nuts and everything out."

The troubled show produced by U2's Bono and The Edge lost its director, Julie Taymor, in early April.

Producers decided to put the show on hiatus while a new creative team re-worked the book and choreography.
