MANHATTAN — A fire broke out in a Harlem apartment building Thursday night, FDNY said.
The fire started in an apartment at 148 W. 142nd St., a brick, six-story building, about 7:20 p.m. The fire was under control by 7:57, FDNY said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Two firefighters sustained minor injuries, according to the FDNY. It was unknown whether they required medical attention.
