INWOOD — A fire broke out in a residential building in Inwood on Wednesday afternoon, FDNY said.
The fire was reported at 37 Vermilyea Street, an apartment building near the corner of Academy Street, about 5:22 p.m.
There were no injuries reported, the FDNY said. The fire was under control at 5:48 p.m.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
