MIDTOWN - The lights are going down Sunday night on "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark."
The problem-plagued musical, which cost an estimated $65 million to produce, will be taking a 3 1/2-week break after Sunday's performance for an overhaul.
Previews will begin again on May 12 and the official opening is slated for June 14.
The show, which features music from U2 members Bono and the Edge, has been hampered by injuries, delays and the ouster of director Julie Taymor.
Opening night has been been delayed numerous times since previews began at the Foxwoods Theater last November.
