HARLEM — Fresh off of serving up dinner for President Barack Obama at a $30,800 per plate fundraiser, Red Rooster Harlem is now offering a chance to grab a muffin to go.

Called "the Nook," Red Rooster's to-go service will offer muffins, pastries and pantry supplies like grits. Need some cooking ideas? The Nook also offers up cookbooks, New York magazine reports.

The popular restaurant of celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson has been expanding its offerings since opening last year. The restaurant recently announced that it will open a lounge on the restaurant's lower level.

Samuelsson has said the restaurant will eventually serve breakfast but those offerings are pending, according to the website.

Samuelsson is a former winner of Bravo's "Top Chef Master's" who has authored a couple of cookbooks. He also prepared Obama's first state dinner.

The restaurant has brought a lot of attention to the area. It is located at 310 Lenox Avenue between 125th and 126th streets. Reports say that it takes about a month to land a reservation.
