HARLEM — A body was pulled from the Harlem River Thursday morning, according to police and a Parks Department worker.
NYPD Harbor responded to calls about a body in the water about 8:03 a.m., police said. They pulled the decomposed body from a dock near Harlem River Drive and Dyckman Street.
The body was seen by multiple residents, a Parks Department worker said, and a rowing club member called NYPD to report it, according to police.
The medical examiner will determine the gender, identity and cause of death.
The investigation was ongoing, police said.
