MIDTOWN — Producers of the troubled Broadway show "Spider-Man" have delayed its opening for the sixth time after becoming tangled in more controversy.
Opening night of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" has been pushed back until June 14, the Daily News reported. Preview performances between April 19 and May 11 have been cancelled to allow extra rehearsal time.
The delays and cancellations were needed because of revisions being made to the show, the producers told the News.
The high-flying production has been hit with several safety violations after accidents on the stage.
