MANHATTAN — A man charged with a string of SoHo burglaries allegedly wasted no time in pointing himself out in surveillance footage and confessing to his crimes, the New York Post reported.
Christopher Rodriguez was arrested for six burglaries in the Bronx and allegedly said, "That's me on the video," when police showed him surveillance footage from SoHo, the Post reported.
Rodriguez allegedly admitted to robbing six SoHo homes after police matched his fingerprints to a crime scene on Thompson Street near Bleecker Street and is the prime suspect in another three burglaries, the paper reported.
He would allegedly climb to the roof and enter into apartments through fire escapes and windows where he would take jewelry, electronics and laptops, according to the Post.
Rodriguez reportedly targeted the same apartment building on Sullivan Street, near Prince Street, twice — in December and January.
