LOWER EAST SIDE — A new burger joint and specialty coffee shop will seek liquor licenses for their locations on East Houston Street, according to Community Board 3's just-released meeting agenda for next month.

Lucky's Famous Burgers, with two locations on the West Side and one in Hoboken, N.J., will appear before the board next month to apply for a full liquor license for the restaurant's new location at 147 E. Houston St.

Peet's Coffee and Tea, a California-based coffee roaster, will also makes its case for a full liquor license at 175 E. Houston St.

On Second Avenue, a corporation to be formed is looking to get approved for a full liquor license at 87 Second Ave., which is home to the now-closed Asian restaurant Rhong Tiam.

Other notable newcomers include a full liquor license application for the former Aces and Eights bar at 34 Avenue A, and a liquor license transfer for the falafel joint Three Monkeys at 99 Rivington St., which was damaged in a fire last month.

The agenda also hints that Southern-themed bar Mason Dixon on Essex Street is looking to transfer its full liquor license to a new operator, and that two Second Avenue establishments — Wine Bar at 65 Second Ave. and Plum Pizzeria at 157 Second Ave. — will be applying for sidewalk seating.

Community Board 3's full agenda is available on the board's website.
