MANHATTAN — Residents of the Upper East Side with allegiances to the Colbert Nation can stop by Bar-Coastal Thursday night for a chance to appear on "The Colbert Report," according to posts on the bar's Twitter account.

While the show's namesake, The Rev. Sir Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, D.F.A., will not be in attendance, representatives of the Comedy Central fake newscast will be interviewing patrons for an upcoming segment, according to the Tweets.

An e-mail from Bar-Coastal's Jason Pontillo, intercepted by NearSay.com, revealed that the crew would be interviewing customers on the subject of Ladies' Nights between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
