MADISON SQUARE GARDEN — New York City natives the Strokes have announced that they will headline a show at Madison Square Garden on April 1.
The band's lead singer Julian Casablancas spilled the beans about the upcoming performance on Twitter on Tuesday writing, "New York April 1st. Madison Square Garden. On sale to public February 25th. See you there!"
The hometown heroes' show will take place the night before LCD Soundsystem will play their final show at the Garden on Apr. 2.
The Strokes' show will be the band's first major performance of their upcoming album Angles, which will be released on March 22.
Tickets will be available for purchase on Ticketmaster.com on Feb. 25th.
