MANHATTAN — An 86-year-old woman returned home after disappearing from her East Harlem home on Thursday, the NYPD said.
Dorothy Smith was last seen leaving her apartment at 334 East 108th Street around 12:30 p.m., before returning Saturday morning, according to the department.
Police had asked for the public's assistance in finding the lost senior. It was not clear weather the media effort contributed to her return.
