HELL'S KITCHEN — A wine bar featuring cold plates and wine-infused cocktails was among the businesses that gained approval from Community Board 4's Chelsea liquor license committee Monday night.

The wine bar, which does not yet have a name, hopes to open its doors at 167 Ninth Ave. at West 20th Street. They will operate from noon to midnight daily and offer bicycle delivery.

CB4's committee also voted to recommend a license for a new Thai restaurant at 232 Eighth Ave., between West 21st and West 22nd streets. THAINY plans to operate from 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and also offer delivery.

Italian eatery, Eolo, now operating at 190 Seventh Ave., secured the committee's recommendation to launch an 11 table sidewalk café.

Another Italian restaurant, Intermezzo, at 202 Eighth Ave. between 20th and 21st Streets, gained support for a new liquor license.

No Chelsea residents spoke in opposition to any of Monday night's applicants.

Each business will now seek approval from CB4's full board. The next meeting is scheduled for Wed., Feb. 2.
