UPPER WEST SIDE — A small fire broke out in the kitchen of an Upper West Side apartment Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

An eastbound section of West 86th Street, between Central Park West to Columbus Avenue, was closed off as firefighters responded to the blaze that broke out in an oven at a ninth-floor apartment in the Parc Cameron building at 41 West 86th St.

No injuries were reported, fire officials said.

The call came in at 10:18 a.m., fire officials said. It was officially under control at 10:43 a.m.
