MANHATTAN — The George Washington Bridge reopened Monday morning after an overnight pile-up stalled traffic for nearly four hours, WCBS-TV reported.
Inbound lanes were shutdown around 3:15 a.m. following a crash which involved one car and seven tractor-trailers, according to WCBS-TV.
One person suffered minor injuries and the lanes weren't reopened until 7:07 a.m., when workers finished cleaning up the fuel and antifreeze that had spilled onto the roadway.
Commuters should expect residual delays to continue throughout the morning.
