UPPER WEST SIDE — A Michigan mother who went missing from her Midtown apartment last Thursday was found safe and sound at an Upper West Side YMCA on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

Aimee Angle-Zahn, 34, had last been seen at her Sixth Avenue residence on Thursday and was reportedly kicked out of an apartment she was subletting after having an argument with her landlord over unpaid rent, according to published reports.

Angle-Zahn has an 8-year-old daughter back in Michigan and was on a leave of absence from Cornell Medical School at the time of her disappearance. Her family became concerned when Angle-Zahn, who suffers from seizures, did not call her daughter over the weekend, according to police.

"She has an 8-year-old daughter," her father, Allen Angle, 59, told the Daily News when he hadn't heard from his daughter for a few days. "She's generally very punctual about calling every day.”

Angle-Zahn's mother said she received an e-mail from her daughter Thursday about losing her apartment and booked her a room at a LaGuardia Airport hotel. Angle-Zahn's family became concerned when her daughter failed to check in to the hotel.

She was located in good condition at the West Side YMCA located on 63rd Street near Lincoln Center and Central Park on Tuesday evening.
