TIMES SQUARE — A suspicious package found at the Times Square subway station halted a Q train Friday morning, MTA officials said.

The Q train was kept in the Times Square station at Broadway and 40th Street while police investigated the package, the official said. The package was found about 11:20 p.m., according to the MTA.

The Q line began running again at 42nd Street about 12 p.m., an NYPD officer on the scene said.
