UPPER EAST SIDE — For once, the red carpet won't be just for celebrities.

High fashion shoppers on Madison Avenue will have a chance to show off their designer duds on a 16-foot-long red carpet set up on Friday between East 61st and East 62nd Streets.

A team from renowned party photographer Patrick McMullan's studio will shoot the shoppers as part of Fashion's Night Out to benefit the NYC AIDS Fund in The New York Community Trust.

The event is part of Fashion's Night Out, an event where hundreds of stores across the city stay open late and roll out new merchandise in an effort to draw customers.

Over 90 stores along Madison Avenue, including Hermes, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Roberto Cavalli and Betsey Johnson, among others, will participate in this year's extravaganza, said Matthew Bauer, president of the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District.

Customers can purchase their eight by ten prints on the Madison Avenue BID web site for $10 each with all proceeds benefitting the NYC AIDS Fund.
