EAST VILLAGE — Police are searching for a sticky-fingered sinner who snatched a bag from a church on East 14th Street.
The suspect walked into the Immaculate Conception Church at 414 E. 14th St. about 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 16, grabbed the victim’s bag from a rear pew and fled the location, police said.
The alleged thief is described as heavyset woman wearing a blue T-shirt, gray tights and carrying a green purse.
