CHINATOWN — An elderly man got a scare Friday morning when an incoming subway train grazed his head as he stood on the platform at the Canal Street station, police said.

The man, in his 60s, was leaning over the J train tracks about 11 a.m. when the train came rushing into the station and struck him in the head, NYPD sources said.

The man was conscious and alert after the incident, and was transported to a nearby hospital, police said.

No criminality is suspected in the incident, sources added.
