MANHATTAN — A man has been charged with murder after an early morning fight outside a Times Square bar left a 25-year-old party-goer dead Saturday.

NYPD sources said bouncers at the Playwright Bar, on West 49th Street, had forced patrons onto the street after a scuffle at a birthday party broke out at about 3:20 a.m.

But the dispute continued outside. The man, identified by police as Elliott Paulino, a school bus driver from Yonkers with no criminal record, was stabbed twice in the chest.

Police arrested fellow Yonkers resident Atdhe Gashi, 22, on Sunday. He was charged with second degree murder.

NYPD sources said Gashi walked into Midtown North precinct at 2 a.m. Sunday and turned himself in.

Paulino was rushed to Bellevue Hospital after police received a 911 call Saturday. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
