UPPER EAST SIDE — Hollywood royalty will kick off the 92nd Street Y's fall lecture series.
The season will start with Academy-Award winners Philip Seymour Hoffman and Sir Michael Caine and include visits with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Hoffman, who won the Oscar for his portrayal of Truman Capote in the film "Capote," will screen his directorial film debut, Jack Goes Boating Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
The film follows the romantic lives of working class New Yorkers and costars Daphne Rubin-Vega, of Rent, Amy Ryan, of "Gone Baby Gone," and John Ortiz of "Pride and Glory."
Legendary actor Michael Caine will begin the new season of "Reel Pieces" with Annette Insdorf Nov. 9.

The evening with the star of "Hannah and Her Sisters" and "The Dark Knight" will feature clips from Caine's career but tickets will be restricted just to members of the 92nd Street Y.
Tickets for the Michael Caine event are available to 92nd St. Y members and Reel Pieces members first, and if any tickets remain on Nov. 1 they will go on sale to the general public. Tickets for all other events are on sale now.
Other luminaries lined up for the center's series include Tony Blair on Sept. 14, Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington on Sept. 7, and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong on Sept. 19.
